Collecting in Thailand

My time in Thailand was an incredible blend of hands-on conservation and cultural exchange. I spent several weeks collecting butterflies and assisting at a local butterfly farm, where conservation efforts were in full swing.

The tropical climate and diverse plant life made Thailand an ideal location for a wide variety of butterfly species, and our work focused on studying their life cycles and ensuring the farm's breeding programs were as effective as possible.

Supporting the Butterfly Farm

Helping at the butterfly farm was more than just an opportunity to work with beautiful insects—it was about contributing to a larger mission of sustainable conservation.

By providing guidance on breeding techniques and habitat preservation, we aimed to ensure that local species could thrive both in the wild and in managed environments.

Our Research

It was rewarding to see how the farm’s efforts were making a real impact in educating the local community and promoting the importance of preserving Thailand’s natural biodiversity.
